An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a reputable, industry leading and luxury brand on the outskirts of York who are currently seeking an experienced PA and Office Manager to join their ambitious team. This is brand new role created due to continued and rapid growth within the business. Although industry experience isn’t essential you will have professional services experience and an interest in the property sector. My client is keen to secure the best individual available for this role and offering the right candidate the opportunity to create their own role with the ongoing support of the MD and team. As the only PA within the business you will be solely responsible for supporting the day to day activity of the MD and will also be responsible for the daily operations of the office.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and PA support to the MD and sales team
• Organise meetings and provide admin support; distribute papers etc.
• Minute meetings
• Provide reports and data where needed
• Maintain databases and information systems
• Provide admin support at events and conferences
• Manage the building on a day by day basis
• Be responsible for building services and liaise directly with contractors/suppliers
• Keep office supplies stocked, managing the office supplies budget
• Assist in the recruitment process, supporting hiring Managers if recruitment is needed
• Advise staff on company policies and procedures
• HR administration including maintaining staff records and organising staff training
• Assist with the administration of health and safety and risk assessment
• Adhoc administrative tasks as and when requested across the business
• Be the first point of contact for the business/gate keeper for the MD
Key skills/experience:
• Proven experience providing administrative support at a senior level including diary management, organising events and meetings and minute taking
• Proven experience managing an office
• Advanced level MS Office
• Organisation and the ability to multitask
• First class verbal/written skills
• Excellent communication
• Possess the ability to manage a conflicting workload
• Work to deadlines, under pressure and demanding environment
• Immaculately presented
