Description

Simpson Judge are recruiting on behalf of a Reputable Business based in Manchester City Centre for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team on a 2 month temporary basis. 

Role Duties:

Credit Control

  • Regular calls to all debtors
  • Arranging and scheduling receipts from debtors
  • Chasing up differences - non receipts/receipts of a different value
  • Reconciling cash receipts to debtors daily
  • Managing debtors report
  • Updating MI - key debtors
  • Updating FD & FC on anticipated receipts and outcomes
  • Alerting Project Managers to disputed invoices and working with them to resolve these 

Purchase Ledger 

  • Managing accounts email
  • Updating cashflow
  • PO Requests
  • Updating supplier details on Sage
  • Updating client contact information to fee schedule
  • Petty cash
  • Sales/Purchase Ledger transactions
  • Filing

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Credit Control and Purchase Ledger
  • Sage experience desirable
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self starter
