A welcoming and growing SME is looking to appoint a Finance & Business Support Officer to work in a small, friendly team. You will be required to undertake both financial and operational work in a timely manner with good attention to detail on a variety of IT systems; Sage 50, Microsoft Excel and a bespoke in-house package.
Our client is seeking a candidate that likes a varied position and will turn their hand to anything and everything, you will have strong communication skills and will typically be a team orientated character with the ability to manage your own workload day to day.
Key responsibilities are varied but not limited;
• Booking accommodation
• Day to day planning of works
• Stock control
• Monthly company accounts
• Monthly invoices
• CIS and VAT payments
• Payroll – currently outsourced, would be ideal to bring in house
• Cash flow forecasting
• Financial planning and analysis
• Issuing contracts
• Compliance and Health & Safety
• Experience of ISO and knowledge of HERS would be a distinct advantage
