Working days: Monday – Friday, except for all UK Bank Holidays.
Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00; on occasion: 07:30 – 17:00 (up to 10 days a year)
Up to £31,000 p.a. dependent upon experience

I am currently recruiting for a polished, professional Receptionist & Administration Manager on behalf of a FTSE250 company based just moments away from Victoria Station. This is a key role within a relatively small UK office, and responsibilities are broad and varied. This is an urgent requirement so candidates on 1 weeks' notice or less will be given precedence.

Key responsibilities will include:
** Stand alone receptionist duties; ensuring calls are answered and visitors are greeted in a professional manner, the reception area is kept impeccably tidy and the email box and calendar are properly maintained
** Order general office, catering & kitchen supplies: purchase all meeting room refreshment provisions; set up and maintain staff kitchen tea point supplies and machines
** Travel booking arrangements for London office employees, Directors and visitors: taxi, hotel and flight bookings; maintain detailed records of all bookings made
** Stationery ordering and management of supplies and storage; place orders for company logo branded items including business cards, envelopes and letterheads
** Report office equipment faults (e.g. photocopiers, drinks machines); generate communications and updates to employees regarding faulty items
** General administration for the Facilities department
** General office admin assistance (archiving document folders, document binding for committee meetings etc.)
** Budget data entry, petty cash handling; maintain invoice and purchase logs
** Health & Safety compliance: arrange fire warden / first aid training for employees
** Assist in organising the annual staff Christmas event and ad-hoc external meetings
** Deputise for the Office & Facilities Manager when necessary

In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following:
** A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate Reception & Admin role
** Used to coping with a wide scope of tasks
** Experience of MS Office packages: intermediate / advanced Outlook, intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint and very accurate attention to all details of admin work
** An excellent telephone manner, a pleasant, welcoming manner and confidence when dealing with visitors
** Must be fluent in written and spoken English with advanced literacy and comprehension skills; a basic knowledge of spoken Russian and written language is desirable but not essential
** Previously held First Aid at Work and Fire Marshall training certificates are desirable but not essential
** Excellent work ethic and high standards or presentation are an absolute requirement

In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £31,000 p.a. dependent upon experience, a discretionary annual bonus scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare and life assurance scheme.
