My client is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their IT department to work in an agile e-commerce B2C & B2B business environment. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements that will improve the businesses capabilities for customers and translates these into User stories. You would attract new and valuable insights, to go above and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead Projects from start to end and orchestrate teams to work together and deliver projects on time within budget and quality agreed
• Implemented new e-commerce solution using Magento 2.2 community edition while migrating the current bespoke platform to a brand-new website giving a skin refresh and various integrations with SAP and Mail chimp
• Gain in depth understanding of underlying customer wants and needs
• Deploy a Project Management Methodology, mentor and coach key personnel to use PMO assets
• Serve as the voice of business and voice of customer in the development & design processes
• Prepare weekly Dashboards to reflect on Key Performance Indicators for the team
• Gain in depth understanding of systems architecture and interfaces to anticipate implications of solution additions, changes, enhancements
• Create epics, detailed user stories, & acceptance criteria
• Be an active member in the scrum process and implementation of each product
• Participate in and monitor testing of any new product releases
• Audit existing process framework of business processes to identify the bottle necks and opportunities for IT and Business to improve, using tools such as Visio or Lucid chart
• Run weekly meetings and assist with day to day project activities
• Implement risk and change management to manage SAP Business One changes following a documented change approval and review process
• Maintain close interaction with product owners and user experience experts to ensure successful delivery
• Conduct workshops to brainstorm the requirements and convert them into opportunities for technology and change
• Use management tools such as MS Project, OMNI Plan, Asana, and Trello to manage projects.

Key Skills Required

• Excellent academic achievements preferably with a Computing degree
• Knowledge of VBA would be an advantage
• Working experience of a variety of projects, large or small
• Structured and rigorous mind with attention to detail
• Experience of reporting tools such as SQL, Targit, Qlikview, Power BI etc
• Agile Project experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, MS Projects, etc
• Previous experience working with SAP Business One would be advantageous
• Good interpersonal skills
• Confident, self-starter
• Experience working in fast paced, changing environments
• Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle, knowledge of Java Enterprise software and experience of UML would be a plus
• Retail or Manufacturing experience would be an advantage, but all background will be considered.
