Part-time, permanent opportunity
Up to £65,000 p.a. pro-rata (£250 per day) 2 days per week
I am currently searching for a proven venue & events Sales professional, on behalf of a bespoke venue based to the south of Northampton.
This person will take on responsibility for generating interest in the venue as the ideal place to hold your party, music festival, food festival, country fair, animal show, works away day, etc.
You will devise and implement the marketing strategy, engage with key potential clients to bring your venue to their attention, broaden visibility of the venue as available to hire and ultimately fill the calendar with events to generate revenue.
The work involved is anticipated to take approximately 2 days per week, hence this role being part-time.
In order to succeed in the role you must possess the following:
* Proven sales experience and ability within leisure or hospitality industries
* Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone
* tenacity and drive to succeed
* A strong work ethic
In return you will receive a very competitive salary equivalent to up to £65,000 p.a. dependent on experience, plus commission that will be calculated on the value of the business generated and brought in on behalf of the venue.
This is a stand-alone position, and so allows for a great deal of autonomy and job satisfaction.
