An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established firm based on the outskirts of Burnley. Trading for over 50 years this company pride themselves on excellent customer service. They have a well-established client base and are continuing to grow. Due to this growth they are now looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their team initially on a temporary basis there may be the opportunity to go permanent.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be required to perform accounts and general admin tasks. Your day to day duties will include matching purchase invoices, chasing any outstanding debt, checking supplier statements and supporting with payroll. The company work on Sage and Microsoft office. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
To be successful in your application you will have previous working experience within accounts or a similar position. Experience of Sage would be an advantage however not essential. You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to work on your own and as part of a team. Due to the nature of the position, you must be available immediately to start.
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary equivalent to £18000- £22000 pa. Parking is free on site, holidays are 20days + Statutory.
