Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage IT team
• Ensure adequate staffing levels throughout the year through the planning of an effective staffing rota
• Performance management of staff through the timely completion of appraisals and correct use of disciplinary procedures if required
• To ensure all staff always know their roles within the business and remain motivated
• Report any personnel issues to your manager and the HR department.

Operational Responsibilities

• Management of the IT team workload and priorities
• Management of existing and new marketplaces (IT integration)
• Improve current integrations with marketplaces and improve business processes
• Knowledge of SAP Business One
• Responsible for SAP B1 service delivery and system performance (non-project related)
• The post-holder, in ensuring provision of the business systems support services, is key to the smooth and efficient running of SAP makes technology recommendations to enhance functionality and improve service delivery
• Excellent knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal reports, MS Excel, Task Centre and the Boyum Usability Package, intermediate knowledge of C#, VB, VBA.

With the help of the IT team manage

• Schedule and run regular checks on network and data security
• Ensure Backups are in place, running and are restorable
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Own the QCS IT Disaster Recovery Plan and provide the technology to support it
• Ensure all IT Procurement is cost effective and timely
• Manage the organisation’s IT Assets and keep accurate records of
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems (Office365, SAP Business One)
• Manage relationships with suppliers
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organisation
• Design training programs and workshops for staff (including Security training)
• Schedule and conduct regular system and user audits
• Ensure all Desktop, Infrastructure and Application Setup and Support issues are responded to and resolved in a timely fashion
• Schedule, run and share regular operation system reports with senior members of the team
• Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Manage and report on the allocation of the IT budget
• Lead and manage team member and identify training needs.

• Reporting Services & Data Analysis
• SAP B1 and SQL User Support
• SAP B1 Administration
• Project Support.
