About the Opportunity
An established and growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its highly regarded Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service and practical legal advice. The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload while working within a supportive, collaborative team environment that encourages professional development and long-term career progression.
Initially office-based, the role will move to a hybrid working arrangement following successful completion of probation.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload while ensuring transactions progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential conveyancing files efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Handling a range of residential property matters including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Delivering a high standard of client care throughout the transaction process
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate file management and case records
- Identifying and resolving issues proactively to keep matters progressing smoothly
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing the client experience
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to achieve positive outcomes
- Providing guidance and support to assistants and junior team members where appropriate
Candidate Requirements

- Qualified Solicitors
- Licensed Conveyancers
- Fellows of CILEx (FCILEx)
- Part-qualified candidates actively working towards qualification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- A calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team
- A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
