About the Opportunity

An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner to join its busy Property Department.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and growing team handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters for both local and national clients. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad and autonomous role, managing their own files while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.

The position would suit a motivated conveyancer who enjoys building client relationships, delivering excellent service, and working within a collaborative legal environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and clients receive a high standard of service throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters
  • Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and other residential conveyancing transactions
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other third parties
  • Maintaining excellent standards of file management and regulatory compliance
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Assisting with business development activities and networking opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Meeting departmental objectives while maintaining exceptional client care standards

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters
  • Experience managing your own caseload with a degree of autonomy
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence working with clients and professional contacts
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and professional approach
  • Commitment to delivering excellent client service
