About the Opportunity
An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner to join its busy Property Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and growing team handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters for both local and national clients. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad and autonomous role, managing their own files while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
The position would suit a motivated conveyancer who enjoys building client relationships, delivering excellent service, and working within a collaborative legal environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and clients receive a high standard of service throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters
- Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and other residential conveyancing transactions
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction process
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other third parties
- Maintaining excellent standards of file management and regulatory compliance
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Assisting with business development activities and networking opportunities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery
- Meeting departmental objectives while maintaining exceptional client care standards
Candidate Profile

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters
- Experience managing your own caseload with a degree of autonomy
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with clients and professional contacts
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, self-motivated, and professional approach
- Commitment to delivering excellent client service
