Family Solicitor – Leeds

Salary: DOE
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Solicitor to join our well-established Leeds practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident professional with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting clients through sensitive family matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation

  • Financial settlements

  • Children matters and contact arrangements

  • Cohabitation issues

  • Domestic abuse cases

• Provide clear, practical legal advice with a client-focused approach

• Conduct advocacy where appropriate

• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider department

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm requirements

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in family law (PQE level flexible)

• Strong understanding of family law procedures and best practice

• Confident communicator with excellent client-care skills

• Ability to manage your own caseload independently

• Calm, empathetic, and professional approach to sensitive matters

• A team player with strong organisational and time-management skills
