I’m Stephanie and I am the Business Manager heading up the Consumer Goods division at Simpson Judge, I focus specifically on placing candidates into product lifecycle roles in the Beauty industry.

We like to do things differently as a specialist recruitment provider and this week I will be taking part in a beautiful collaboration, as myself and Ana Muggenburg, from Iconic London will be presenting to Cosmetic Science students from the University of Arts London (UAL).

The desire to provide an outstanding quality service is inbuilt in our values as a business, trust as a Simpson Judge value is fundamental to our business process to build long lasting trusted partnerships with our clients and candidates alike, through collaborative relationships and a deep understanding of the industries that we work in, we can find the best talent and advise on recruitment strategies to support our clients’ goals and growth plans.

I take a personal approach to all my clients and network, in an industry when it’s all about people it’s incredibly important to build relationships where you take time to really understand what’s important to the individual, whether it’s the benefits package, what attributes are needed for the perfect candidate to fit into the team or promoting job roles to the next generation of beauty industry experts.

At this event at the University of Arts London, Ana from Iconic London and I are both presenting to the Cosmetic Science students and upcoming graduates about taking their first steps into the working world of the Beauty Industry. It’s fantastic to be able to give some advice, guidance and share some knowledge to the future stars of the industry. I know I find it inspirational to hear the stories from Ana, who is now a member of the senior leadership team at Iconic London but was once in their position as an enthusiastic graduate!

“Most efficient recruitment process across the beauty industry. Stephanie helped me to find the perfect candidate for an NPD Manager role within my team. She provided a pool of qualified individuals, who were all matching the profile requests in terms of experience and skills. Stephanie was efficient, accurate and prompt to organise the interviews. She was always available for discussions and feedback, swiftly following up on next steps. We were able to move fast and got an offer accepted in less than 2 weeks from the moment we started the process.” Ana Muggenburg, NPD Director at Iconic London

Working in partnership with a brand like Iconic London to showcase what the beauty industry has to offer demonstrates the experience and depth of connections that I have in the industry, many people who I have presented to over the years, I will continue to work with as they advance through their career as I know what they are looking for and understand their career goals and objectives.

“Stephanie helped me through the years with various potential job opportunities since I graduated from university. She is always on hand to help with any questions and respects all the restrictions that I place on my job search.” Nuria Lima, Development Chemist at Montagne Jeunesse

Whether you are looking to start out in the industry or looking to find talent for a specific role, we work in partnership with you and our extensive experience within recruitment for the Cosmetics & Personal Care ensures brands and manufacturers, recruiting all levels of staff from junior to director level are perfectly matched.

“Stephanie worked with me to find my new position when I was job hunting at the end of my studies. She put me in contact with a great company and I got the role I was looking for. Today, I’m so happy in my new job and I’m so grateful for Stephanie, who was very supportive and attentive through the entire process. She helped me every time I needed it, she made the process way easier, and she was also very nice and professional the whole time.” Carolina Ortega, Development Chemist at Herrco
